Ok, it is cool to watch the internet evolve. Youtube has now started showing videos in 720p and 1080p HD. The problem I have with this….YOUTUBE IS FUCKING SLOW! If you are THE video site of the internet and owned by Google….shouldn’t you have a PHATASS pipe to pump out the video content? I know there are MILLLLLLLONS using Youtube…but come on. The slower Youtube gets, the less I want to visit or use the service.

Click the HD button and you should have choices for 720 and 1080. 1080 is slow as shit! Let it pre load for a while. If you are having performance issues, could be your machine but you could also try the Adobe Flash Beta 10 that supports this format utilizing the CPU and GPU. Yeah, it is beta but it is also getting RAVE reviews around the internet. Give it a try!
